HP3 Training Plans

Training plans for trail, ultra, gravel & strength – built by coaches who race

Structured, evidence-based training plans from the HP3 coaching team, led by Chartered Physiotherapist, endurance coach and Montane Summer Spine Challenger winner Tim Pigott – with S&C coach Morgan Ogle and endurance coach Ed Milbourn. First 50k to 100 miles and beyond. Base, Maintenance & Recovery

The unglamorous plans that make the difference: repeatable base blocks (our highest-rated plan, 4.9★), off-season speed and skills work, return-to-running after a break, and structured post-race recovery so you never stop dead or rush back. This is where durable athletes are built. Base · Maintenance · Return to running · Recovery  ·  From $9.95 See base & recovery plans →
Race planning notes and maps for a race-specific training system

Race-Specific Systems

Complete race-specific systems built around one event: base block, race plan, strength bolt-on and recovery, engineered for the exact demands of the course. The Difference

Why HP3 plans

01

Physio-led

Written by a Chartered Physiotherapist-led coaching team, so progression and injury risk are managed inside the same plan, not left to luck.

02

Strength built in

Progressive strength work is included in the plan, not sold separately: the research-backed element most generic plans omit.

03

Fuelling & gut training

Structured fuelling and gut training in most plans, because long races are lost on the stomach before they are lost on the legs.

04

Honest entry criteria

Every plan states exactly who it is for, so you start the right plan, not just any plan. Not ready? We route you to a base block first.

Which Route?

Not sure? Training plan vs 1:1 coaching

Training Plan

From $9.95 one-off

Fixed structure, self-directed. Ideal if you're self-motivated with a clear goal.

Includes TeamHP3 community access and email support.

1:1 Coaching

Monthly subscription

Fully adaptive and coach-led, with ongoing communication and review. Ideal if you want personalised guidance and long-term development.

Both are built on the same HP3 methodology – and if you buy a plan then upgrade to coaching within a season, we discount your first month.

"Tim helped me with the psychological aspects as well as progressively building strength training, which improved my resilience and sped up my post-race recovery. I bounced back to second-place finishes."
